How To: Steps to create your own Phishing Email Templates(Lures)
Creating the Template:
- Navigate to Phishing Manager > Phishing Email Template
- Click Create a new template, this will open the template editor
- Provide the following information:
- Type - whether the template is an example of Home & Personal / Business
- Complexity - High, Medium, and Low depending how identifiable the template is a phish
- Name - Free Text - The text you might search for when choosing the template
- Description - Free Text - Context for the template
- Subject - Default Subject set for the template, this can be changed during campaign creation on a per campaign basis
- Creating the template can be done 1 of 2 ways
- Using the standard text editor - uses basic design capabilities
- Click View from the drop down choose Source Code:
- Allows the use of inline CSS styling
- Allows copy and pasting of previously created HTML
Note: where you use HTML, you can always use the standard text editor to make minor adjustments
Using Tokens:
- While using the template editor
- Click CyberRiskAware Tokens
- This will display a list of place holder text to inject to your template
- Tokens can be simple text additions such as names/ dates.
- Tokens can be place holders such as Click Here, when sent to the user these will contain links.
